The Charles Edwards Memorial Chili Cook off and Bake Off is scheduled for Friday, November 15 from noon to 1 p.m. in the MLK building on the second floor. There will be first, second and third place prizes for each category. Entries for the bake off should be desserts such as cakes, brownies, pies, etc.

This event is held in honor of alumnus Charles Edwards. While a student at Saint Augustine’s University, Edwards did his work study in the mail room. Upon graduation, he was hired as a full time mail clerk and later became the manager of the university mail room. He was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.

Proceeds from this event will benefit the Charles Edwards Scholarship Fund.
