LaKeisha Ford (Jr./Madison Heights, Va.) totaled three RBIs, and Hannah Stutts (So./Statesville, N.C.) and Cierra Neal (So./New Hill, N.C.) each added two RBIs as Saint Augustine’s University beat Elizabeth City State University 11-3 for its first CIAA softball victory of the season on Sunday, March 10, 2013. The contest was played at Hawks Field on the campus of Chowan University as part of the CIAA Round-Up 1.

The trio of Ford, Stutts and Neal also led the Lady Falcons (5-3-1, 1-2 CIAA) in hits with two apiece. Daja White (Fr./Leland, N.C.) scored a game-high three runs while Ford and Taylor Walters (So./Douglasville, Ga.) each added two runs.
